The latest developments in Artificial Intelligence for media management brought to BIT Audiovisual by VSN

The technology company VSN will bring to the already traditional show in Madrid its latest developments based on advanced technology, such as Artificial Intelligence for media management, and new Cloud tools for video editing, which has been recently included in VSNExplorer platform, boosting a more efficient media management system. Among these innovations are VSNExplorer MAM new automatic metadata capturing functionalities and VSNExplorer new MOS Media Bus, 100% developed in HTML5 and compatible with any NRCS.

After an intense NAB Show in Vegas, where its latest innovations had a big success among the industry professionals that visited the company's booth, VSN arrives now to Madrid IFEMA accompanied by all these innovations from 8 to 10 May. All visitors to the show BIT Audiovisual will have the opportunity of experiencing first hand from booth 7C23 the most advanced media workflow in the history of the Spanish company, where technology such as Artificial Intelligence play a very important role.

Especially relevant is the new metadata automatic capturing capability in the cataloging view of VSNExplorer MAM module, thanks to the integration via API of Artificial Intelligence services of companies like IBM Watson, Google, Microsoft Azure or Etiqmedia. This way, VSNExplorer MAM is now capable of showing in one single interface all metadata captured automatically and directly from a media asset in seconds, segmenting results per provider. Among the functionalities included within these tools are speech-to-text, image processing, facial recognition, objects and audio effects detection, image emotions analysis, context information or text transcription and translation.

Together with this VSNExplorer MAM new functionalities, another VSN acclaimed innovation that will be present at BIT Audiovisual is the new VSNExplorer Plugin, a MOS Media Bus 100% developed HTML5 and specific to news and live events production environments. This new web plugin allows users to access most VSNExplorer MAM functionalities directly from any NRCS interface. It essentially allows NRCS to perform advanced assets search, video editing and unifying videos and graphics from any CG system, getting a complete news piece ready for broadcast and delivery to studio playout, or even re-edition if necessary. Moreover, this new tool is compatible with most NRCS available in the market, such as Octopus 8, Inception from Ross Video, iNews from Avid and ENPS from AP News, among others.

Finally, BIT Audiovisual visitors will have the chance to discover in live demos the new video and audio editing features, including voiceover capabilities, of VSNExplorer web video editor, Wedit, as well as the complete VSN Cloud Playout solution, designed to cover every aspect of Broadcast and Media companies workflows, from program scheduling, through media recovery and delivery to video servers, to its final broadcast on different screens. This new streamlined workflow in the Cloud has been achieved thanks to the implementation of four VSN systems in the Cloud: VSNExplorer for media and workflows management, VSNCreaTV for program scheduling, VSNWebTV as VoD platform, and VSNOneTV as playout system with graphics integration.
