La facturaci n del sector TIC y de los contenidos creci en 2015 un 8,5%, lo que se traduce en 97.931 millones de euros, seg n datos de la nueva edici n del Informe anual del sector TIC y de los contenidos realizado por el Observatorio Nacional de las Telecomunicaciones y de la Sociedad de la Informaci n (ONTSI), dependiente del Ministerio de Energ a, Turismo y Agenda Digital.
El balance es tambi n positivo para el resto de indicadores analizados, entre los que se incluyen la creaci n de empleo: los puestos de trabajo del sector ascendieron en 2015 un 6,1% hasta situarse en 453.575 personas, la cifra m s alta desde 2009. Igual sucede con el n mero de empresas, 32.103, con un crecimiento del 4,2%. La inversi n en el a o 2015 es el indicador econ mico que m s crece (15,2%), y alcanza los 17.372 millones de euros. De esta forma, el sector TIC y de los contenidos aporta a la econom a espa ola 46.296 millones de euros, es decir, el 4,9% del PIB del pa s.
Dentro del sector, destaca la aportaci n que hacen las empresas TIC a la facturaci n total de 2015, ya que su actividad representa el 84,2%, con una cifra de negocio de 82.464 millones de euros (un 7,7% m s que el ejercicio anterior). Resulta especialmente relevante el incremento en el empleo, del 7,1%, y que alcanza los 354.480 puestos de trabajo.
El n mero de empresas con actividad en el sector TIC fue de 22.524, lo que supone un notable aumento interanual del 5,4%. Estas compa as realizaron inversiones por valor de 14.886 millones de euros en 2015, un 19,8% m s que el a o anterior.

En el a o 2015 se consolida la recuperaci n del sector de los contenidos iniciada en 2014. Su cifra de negocio alcanza los 15.467 millones de euros, lo que representa un 13,2% m s que el a o anterior y el 15,8% de la facturaci n total del sector.
El n mero de empresas tambi n aumenta un 1,6% y se sit a en 9.579, al igual que el empleo, que sube un 2,8% en 2015 hasta alcanzar los 99.095 puestos de trabajo.
