Las Jornadas Broadcast IT Experience, organizadas por IFEMA en colaboraci n con Panorama Audiovisual y que tendr n los pr ximos 29 y 30 de octubre en Feria de Madrid, contar n con un ponente de lujo para su apertura.
Llu s Borrell, uno de los profesionales del audiovisual con mayor proyecci n internacional y m s de dos d cadas de experiencia en el sector, centrar su intervenci n el martes 29 a las 9.30 de la ma ana tanto en TV lineal como no lineal analizando las perspectivas comerciales y regulatorias en Europa.
Hoy al frente del rea de Media de Analysys Mason a nivel internacional, Borrell cuenta con un extenso curr culum que incluye proyectos en mercados de fuerte crecimiento, como la banda ancha, as como en el mercado de medios de comunicaci n tradicionales y digitales (TDT, DTH, cable, IPTV y televisi n por Internet). Su carpeta de clientes incluye reguladores, operadores, bancos de inversi n y distribuidores de contenidos, entre otros.
Llu s ha dirigido un importante n mero de proyectos de consultor a en muchos pa ses de Europa, y posee un s lido conocimiento de todos los aspectos estrat gicos, comerciales, financieros y operacionales relacionados con las distintas plataformas de distribuci n de televisi n, incluyendo el espectro radioel ctrico. A modo de ejemplo, recientemente dirigi un estudio para la Comisi n Europea para analizar las tendencias tecnol gicas que tendr n un impacto en la demanda de espectro adicional en los pr ximos diez a os en los 27 Estados Miembro de la Uni n Europea.
Antes de incorporarse a Analysys Mason trabaj durante diez a os para Spectrum Value Partners, donde colabor con un amplio n mero de clientes espa oles e internacionales, ayud ndoles a desarrollar su negocio y abrir nuevos mercados. Con anterioridad, Llu s trabaj en el departamento comercial y de planificaci n de negocio de Eutelsat, el operador de comunicaciones por sat lite l der a nivel mundial, donde jug un papel fundamental en el lanzamiento de la televisi n digital en Europa (Hot Birds).
Ingeniero Superior de Telecomunicaciones por la Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya (ETSETB), tambi n posee un M ster en Sistemas de Telecomunicaciones Aeron uticos y Espaciales de Telecom Paris (ENST), y un M.B.A. de INSEAD.
