BACKENTERTAINMENT ONE AND RUMBLE FILMS SOLIDIFY STRATEGIC FINANCING AND DEVELOPMENT DEALLos Angeles, CA December 18, 2019 Entertainment One (eOne) and Rumble Films have entered into a strategic financing and development agreement for film and television. The agreement will allow the two companies to jointly finance new projects and will provide Rumble with access to eOne s distribution base, in multiple territories, as well as Sierra/Affinity s international sales capabilities. In addition to their deal with eOne, Rumble currently maintains financial backing from Andrew Schwartzberg.
"Having worked with and enjoyed much success with Nick and Marc and all my friends at eOne for over a decade, I m excited to join forces and aim for smart commercial projects with the resources to execute on a robust footing," said David Lancaster, CEO of Rumble.
The deal was negotiated by Marc Schaberg for eOne and David Lancaster and Jon Shiffman for Rumble with assistance from UTA s Jim Meenaghan.

Rumble s latest film DONNYBROOK, was released by IFC Films earlier this year. Next in theaters from Rumble is THE BURNT ORANGE HERESY, which will be released by Sony Pictures Classics in the Spring of 2020. The noir thriller stars Claes Bang, Elizabeth Debicki, Mick Jagger and Donald Sutherland and was directed by Giuseppe Capotondi. Also in theaters next year will be Rumble s psychological horror film THE OTHER LAMB which will be released by IFC Midnight. The film was directed by award-winning Polish director Malgorzata Szumowska and stars Raffey Cassidy, Michiel Huisman and Denise Gough. Rumble strives to create studio quality, fiscally responsible cinema in the independent space, with a focus on visionary filmmakers.
