Einkaufskooperation von Continental und Schaeffler: Sechs neue Lieferanten in den Premium Supplier Circle aufgenommen
Continental und Schaeffler verleihen sechs weiteren Lieferanten den Premium Supplier Status
Insgesamt erf llen nun 32 Lieferanten die anspruchsvollen Kriterien und sind in ihrem Premium Supplier Status f r die kommenden zwei Jahre best tigt
Am 8. November haben Continental und Schaeffler zum vierten gemeinsamen Premium Supplier Day in Frankfurt am Main geladen. Seit acht Jahren bilden die beiden H user eine Einkaufskooperation und ernennen beziehungsweise best tigen im Zweijahresrhythmus ausgew hlte gemeinsame Premium-Lieferanten. Insgesamt fanden sich 32 Lieferanten aus neun L ndern zusammen, um an der Veranstaltung teilzunehmen.
Unter mehr als 1.200 strategischen Lieferanten hatten die beiden Unternehmen 110 ausgew hlt und anhand definierter Kriterien systematisch und umfassend evaluiert. Neben dem passenden Produktportfolio und sehr guter Qualit tsperformance zogen Schaeffler und Continental auch Kriterien aus der Logistik sowie die globale Wettbewerbsf higkeit heran. Von den 32 nominierten Zulieferern, welche die anspruchsvollen Anforderungen der Automobilindustrie bestm glich erf llten, wurden sechs neue Lieferanten in den Premium Supplier Circle aufgenommen.
Continental und Schaeffler planen mit den Premium-Lieferanten eine noch engere Partnerschaft - unter anderem in den Bereichen Entwicklung und Digitalisierung - mit dem Ziel, den gemeinsamen Gesch ftserfolg noch weiter zu beschleunigen. Hierzu setzen Continental und Schaeffler in klar definierten Materialfeldern eine gemeinsame Lieferantenstrategie um und versuchen die Lieferanten bereits in einer fr hen Produktentwicklungsphase einzubinden. Die Premium-Lieferanten erf llen die strengen Bewertungskriterien und sind somit gut aufgestellt, um den stetig wachsenden Erwartungen der Automobilhersteller und den steigenden Anspr chen an die gesamte Lieferkette zu begegnen. So gehen mit der Automatisierung der Fahrfunktionen, der zunehmenden Digitalisierung und Elektrifizierung sowie einem erweiterten Serviceangebot die erh hten Anforderungen an die Qualit tssicherung, das Risikomanagement, die Zuverl ssigkeit und die vernetzte, bereichs bergreifende Zusammenarbeit einher.
Oliver Jung, Vorstand Produktion, Logistik und Einkauf von Schaeffler, betonte: Durch die Digitalisierung kommen hinsichtlich der Integration in das Schaeffler-Produktionssystem neue Herausforderungen auf unsere Lieferanten zu. Und G nter Fella, Einkaufsleiter bei Continental Automotive, erg nzte: Die Digitalisierung er ffnet damit M glichkeiten bez glich der Verbesserung von Flexibilit t, Qualit tsperformance und Wettbewerbsf higkeit.

6. Knipping Kunsstofftechnik King Plastic GmbH, Deutschland
