En los ltimos a os, se ha producido un aumento considerable en la demanda de contenido audiovisual hist rico y original por parte del sector audiovisual y la industria del broadcast, as como de nuevas aplicaciones debido al crecimiento del acceso a banda ancha y m vil para e-Learning y el uso compartido de v deos.
A pesar de que estos grandes cambios est n modificando la forma en la que se producen, ven y gestionan la informaci n y los recursos, nuestro patrimonio audiovisual se encuentra m s amenazado que nunca. Los archivos audiovisuales, las cintas y las pel culas se deterioran inevitablemente con el paso del tiempo, y los equipos de reproducci n tienden a desaparecer; algunos fabricantes ya no los comercializan y las habilidades en esta rea escasean.
Para responder a estos desaf os, Memnon Archiving Services abrir este mes su nueva sede con una nueva estructura de producci n en Evere (Bruselas).
Adquirida por Sony el 1 de julio de 2015, Memnon se ha convertido se ha convertido en un referente mundial, mediante la oferta de servicios de digitalizaci n tanto en sus instalaciones en Bruselas y Estados Unidos (en la Universidad de Indiana, Bloomington, Indiana). Exporta actualmente sus servicios a Estados Unidos y Oriente Medio, aunque ha comenzado a explorar nuevos mercados como Am rica Latina, frica y Asia.
Como el primer inquilino del edificio Flagey, Memnon ha decidido dejar Ixelles y trasladarse a un espacio completamente nuevo y renovado en Rue du Four Briques en Evere. La nueva ubicaci n es perfecta para que Memnon industrialice a n m s los procesos para una digitalizaci n de archivos audiovisuales a gran escala que satisfaga las necesidades y expectativas de calidad de las organizaciones con archivos de gran valor, y que permita alcanzar los objetivos de crecimiento de la empresa en los pr ximos a os.
La adquisici n por parte de Sony significa que Memnon ya se est beneficiando del proceso industrial y la experiencia tecnol gica de Sony. Memnon trasladar todas sus operaciones a la nueva sede de 1800 m , llevando las tareas de procesamiento de archivos audiovisuales a un nuevo nivel. La capacidad de digitalizaci n de los archivos de audio y v deo aumentar considerablemente con la implementaci n de nuevos procesos de digitalizaci n de pel culas, as como con la ampliaci n de la cartera de servicios del centro de investigaci n y desarrollo de la empresa. La nueva sede en Evere se convertir en un nuevo referente por su experiencia en la digitalizaci n a gran escala.
Con el tiempo, esta importante inversi n permitir que Memnon refuerce su posici n como l der mundial en la digitalizaci n de archivos audiovisuales a gran escala, lo que demostrar el compromiso del grupo Sony con nuestros clientes a la hora de conservar el contenido creado normalmente con equipos de Sony y el desarrollo de la empresa en la regi n de Bruselas.
