Victory , the new free direct-to-consumer streaming service carrying Dallas Stars and Anaheim Ducks games, officially launched last week. Jointly owned by the Stars and A Parent Media Co. Inc (APMC), the service is part of a seven-year agreement between the two organizations to stream all regional Stars games free of charge beginning with the 2024-25 season via the new service. In addition to all Stars games, Victory will carry select Anaheim Ducks games this season as part of a separate deal with APMC (other Ducks games will air over-the-air locally on FOX 11 Plus / KCOP Channel 13.

The platform officially launched Wednesday out of the Dallas-Fort Worth market, and the Stars first preseason game on Sept. 21 will be the first event aired live on Victory . Former FOX Sports Executive Producer and Dallas Stars Vice President of Broadcasting Jason Walsh is leading the VICTORY operation.

The free VICTORY service will be a 100% streaming alternative for local sports broadcasts, with advertising as its main revenue driver. VICTORY is available for download on smart TVs, tablets and smart phones in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas). Ducks games will be available in Orange County, Los Angeles County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County, San Diego County, Imperial County, Santa Barbara County, Ventura County and Hawaii. Fans outside the regional territories still have access to VICTORY to watch ancillary content provided by the teams.

The service is offered as a free ad-supported streaming service, making it accessible without barriers and enhancing the fan experience with a low-latency feed and high ad-fill rate for a superior viewing experience. Utilizing APMC's ad-tech solution Safe Exchange will allow both direct and programmatic ads on the service ensuring advertisers can have full access to the engaged audience base.
