Ron Howards Rush opens wide this weekend, so why not make it a theme and catch any (or all!) of these car-focused movies that are currently streaming online.

The Comedy Option: Ferris Buellers Day Off

This is a justifiable classic, and still a reliable source of John Hughes-ian laughs. As you likely already know, the plot of Ferris, much of it anyway, revolves around Ferris and his best friend Cameron taking Camerons dads precious convertible for an all-day joy ride.

The Action Option: Terminator 2: Judgment Day

This is less about a car than a truck, but that truck -- commandeered by Robert Patricks T-1000 -- participates in one of the best chase scenes in movie history, trying to run down Edward Furlong and his little dirt bike.

The Documentary Option: Senna

If Rush has gotten you primed for car-racing dramatics, check out this Brazilian doc about Formula One racer Ayrton Senna, who became something of a South American legend.

The Indie Option: Drive

This ones pretty self-explanatory, right? Ryan Gosling stars as director Nicolas Winding Refns ever-violent muse, playing a stunt-car driver who gets mixed up in mob business, single mothers, and elevator beat-downs.

The Classic Option: Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

A car so excellent, they named a whole movie musical after it. Do you remember this one from when you were a kid? Time to revisit!

The Wild Card: Pulp Fiction

Stick with me here. A good number of the best parts in Pulp Fiction happen in, around, or because of cars. The "royale with cheese" conversation? In a car. The Harvey Keitel cameo? Because Vincent shot a guy by accident the car. Bruce Willis and Marsellus Wallaces dark night of the soul? Happens because Willis ran Marsellus down with his car. Cars, man. Cars.
