Burst and Sinclair Broadcast Group Announce Join Vote 06

Abe Lincoln knew a thing or two about contentious elections and his words from across the decades couldn't ring more true than today. As we approach Election Day 2016, all of America and much of the rest of the world is watching closely to see not only the results of this year's presidential contest but also to see our country's behavior at the local polls during Election Day.

Burst and the Sinclair Broadcast Group, the largest television broadcaster and leading local news provider, are teaming up to deliver unvarnished views of American voters across the country at local polling places during Election Day. Both of the major candidates have set new lows in popularity, yet one will emerge victorious, as the country's next President. Opinions of the candidates and their characters have dominated the political discourse and will reach a peak on Election Day.

Sinclair stations across the Nation will be ingesting viewer-generated video from hundreds of polling places through the Burst platform. These bi-partisan videos will be delivered through Sinclair's political news coverage and updates throughout Election Day, both on air and over the local stations' websites under the moniker Join Vote 2016.
