Netflix has reportedly signed an agreement to rent out production space in Uxbridge.
The rental deal was confirmed by Aviva Investors, which carried out a £33 million development project on the 134,000 square feet UX1 unit based at a West London industrial park, although it didn't confirm that Netflix is the occupier.
The move follows Netflix's creation of a UK hub at Shepperton Studios as the company increases its commitment to UK production in the wake of British successes like The Crown and Sex Education.
It's thought the new production space will be used for a new drama series.
Netflix is now under more pressure to increase its output of original content ahead of rival streaming launches from the likes of Disney, Apple and NBC Universal.
