Live sport on TV: All the live action for 13 14 October 2018

The end of the Rugby Championship and the FIFA break in football may suggest somewhat of a quiet weekend in terms of live sport on TV, but there's never been such a thing, as there is plenty to look forward to in the next two days.

Live sport for 13-14 October Saturday, 13 October Rugby

The completion of the Rugby Championship does not necessarily mean the end of the sport on the tele.

The Currie Cup enters its business end, and you can catch all the action on Saturday afternoon, with the Griquas hosting the Sharks at 14:55 (SS1), while the pick of the weekend is the big one between the Bulls and Western Province at 17:00.

Further afield, you can catch Europe's best as the Exeter Chiefs square off against Munster.

Soccer

There is plenty to look forward to in the beautiful game this weekend. It's the international break, meaning no club soccer, but plenty of high-level action in the European Nations League and the Afcon 2019 qualifiers, where Bafana Bafana are in against Seychelles at 15:00.

Cricket

If the battle between leather and willow is your cup of tea, an early start is your best bet as, at 5:45, day two of the second Test between India and the West Indies commences, while 30 minutes later Sri Lanka an England resume battle in the second ODI after the first one was washed out.

Sunday, 14 October Rugby

There's no local action in terms of the oval ball on Sunday, but you can still kick back and catch more of the European championship, with Gloucester taking on Castres on Supersport 1 (Kick off 13:55), while the Saracens travel to Glasgow, with the game kicking off at 16:00.

Soccer

The Afcon qualifiers continue into Sunday, with Guinea-Bissau and Zambia renewing rivalries after meeting earlier in the week. You can catch that on Supersport 9 at 17:45.

While out in Europe, Scotland and Portugal do battle on Supersport 7, with the match also kicking off at 17:45.

Cricket

Day 3 of the second Test between India and the West Indies takes centre stage, that's if the Windies manage to hold on and take the contest this far.

The Proteas are also in action, taking on Zimbabwe in the final T20 of the series, starting at noon.
