WRAL-FM's Casey Tate and Santa have fun with the kids at the MIX 101.5 Hope for the Holidays event for the Boys & Girls Clubs serving Wake County.
MIX 101.5 partnered with AmeriGas, The Forest at Duke and PDQ to make children's Holiday wishes come true for children in the Boys & Girls Clubs of Raleigh and Durham in 2015!
On December 10th, 2015, MIX 101.5 hosted a holiday party for 101 children from the Boys & Girls Club of Durham! These children will enjoy a delicious dinner provided by PDQ, gifts specially chosen for each child provided by The Forest at Duke and a vist from Santa Claus!
On December 17th, 2015, MIX 101.5 hosted a holiday party for 101 children from the Boys & Girls Club of Raleigh! These children will enjoy a delicious dinner provided by PDQ, gifts specially chosen for each child provided by AmeriGas and a visit from Santa Claus!
2015 has been a crazy year for me, but the long work hours and extra responsibilities in the past several months became all worth it during one promotion, said WRAL-FM Promotion Coordinator Brittany Goodman. I absolutely love Hope for the Holidays. The staff of The Boys & Girls Clubs are amazing, the sponsors are so generous and I love getting to help out some of the most deserving kids in the community. I'm most proud to be a member of the MIX team this time a year because we use our amazing resources to make our city a better.
A very special thanks to The Forest at Duke, Amerigas, PDQ and Newcomb and Company for supporting over 200 children this holiday season.
About the Boys & Girls Clubs
The Boys & Girls Clubs offer young people a range of fun and educational activities. Local Clubs are open each day after school from 2:30 to 8:00 p.m. The Boys & Girls Clubs provide a positive and safe environment where young people can connect with trained and caring staff and reach their goals.
