GSMA ANNOUNCES NEW KEYNOTE SPEAKERS FOR MOBILE WORLD CONGRE 05

Executives from ARM, Ericsson, Micromax, Qualcomm and SAP Added to 2015 Keynote Programme; Registration for 2015 Mobile World Congress Is Now Open

London: The GSMA today announced that executives from ARM, Ericsson, Micromax, Qualcomm Incorporated and SAP will be delivering keynote addresses at the 2015 GSMA Mobile World Congress, taking place 2-5 March 2015 at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona. The GSMA also announced the addition of several sponsors and companies participating in partner programmes at the annual mobile industry event.

The breadth of companies represented in the Mobile World Congress keynote programme underscores the transformative impact that mobile is having across a wide range of industry sectors, said Michael O'Hara, Chief Marketing Officer, GSMA. We have an outstanding roster of CEOs set to take the stage in Barcelona in March, offering attendees new insights and perspectives into the developments that are shaping mobile today and well into the future.

Partner Programmes at Mobile World Congress

Several additional companies have confirmed their participation across a range of partner programmes at Mobile World Congress. Eyefortravel is back for a second year at Mobile World Congress, hosting a partner event in Hall 2, CC2 Auditorium on Monday, 2 March, focused on the impact of mobile and data analytics on the travel industry. AllSeen Alliance will hold its partner event on Wednesday, 4March, while OPNFV will lead a Power Hour session on Thursday, 5 March; both events will be held in the Theatre District in Hall 8.0 at Fira Gran Via. Mobile World Congress Media Welcome Reception

The GSMA will host the official Mobile World Congress Media Welcome Reception from 17:00 to 19:00 on Sunday, 1 March at Fira Gran Via. This networking cocktail reception will offer accredited press and industry analysts the opportunity to meet with leading players from across the mobile ecosystem and preview the week's activities in relaxed social environment. The reception will feature a select number of exhibition showcases and demonstrations from companies including Accedian, Mozido and Umeox Perfect Tecnology (Shen Zen) Ltd. Nominations for Global Mobile Awards Open Through 12 December

The nomination deadline for the 20th annual Global Mobile Awards, which honour excellence and innovation across the mobile industry, has been extended by one week and will now close on Friday, 12 December 2014. Nominations for two special awards, the Young Mobile Innovator of the Year' and Connected Women: Leadership in Industry' awards, will be open until Thursday, 15 January 2015. Global Mobile Award winners will be announced on Tuesday, 3 March 2015 at Mobile World Congress.
