The Hive Expands Service Offering with Google Virtual Tours Certification

LA-based production company, The Hive, has added Google's business virtual tour feature, Google Business Photos, to its existing service offering. The service - exclusively available from Google, and the only virtual tour that can be added to Google listings - brings businesses to life by showcasing their interiors around the world using Street View technology.

The Hive's recent Google Business Photos projects includes Lightning Media's 20,000 square foot, state-of-the-art digital intermediate post production facility in Hollywood, CA.

The virtual tours, officially known as Google Business Photos, are created by stitching individual photographs together into a high-end 360 panoramic virtual tour using the same technology that creates Google Maps' Street View feature. Google Business Photos has been created by Google to give current and prospective customers a sense of the layout, d cor, and beauty of a business's interior.

Once a tour has been created, the business receives an enhanced Google listing. The virtual walkthrough is linked to the Google Maps listing, Google Local and Google Local listings. It can also be embedded to a business's own website using straightforward HTML snippets or Maps APIs made available by Google.

The Hive's Lightning Media virtual tour project covered the Cahuenga Theater screening room, reception area and the main atrium. A virtual tour was also created for Lighting Media's Vault and Blacklist Productions color correction theater located in the same building.

The Hive recently also created Google Business Photos virtual tours for Deutsch Advertising Agency and Rusnak's Porsche, Mercedes and BMW dealerships, as well as the prestigious Malibu Beach Inn.

The Hive's Google Business Photos package ranges from $350.00-$2,500.00 and include the high-quality 360-degree panoramic tour, the enhanced Google listing and the familiar Google Street View navigation. The one-time fee is based upon the size of the indoor area to be photographed.
