Carousel Industries, a leader in managed services, video solutions, data and visual communications, has announced it has hired Bill Thompson as Vice President of Video Services.
With nearly 20 years of operations experience, Thompson is an industry veteran within the Video and Telecommunications industry. Most importantly, Bill has worked at all levels from field technician to engineering as well as managed global operations organizations.
In today's video environment there has emerged a clear need for a truly comprehensive managed video offer. Exciting, yet disruptive, trends and convergences in the collaborations space have positioned the service provider industry with no clear leader. Carousel Industries is positioning to set the bar for what a true IT/Enterprise grade managed service looks like within the video space, said Thompson.
Thompson joins Carousel from BT Conferencing where, for the last 5 years, he served as Global Head of Video Operations. Thompson was responsible for operations, strategic development and business leadership across their entire video portfolio.
