Nautel Continues to Expand TV Transmitter Line at IBC2013 05 Sep 2013

Nautel, one of the world's largest broadcast transmitter manufacturers, continues its expansion into TV transmission with the introduction of the NT250 which joins the previously announced NT150 and NT500.

Nautel's new low power UHF transmitters combine an advanced future proof software defined modulator with ASI, SMPTE310M and TSoIP Gigabit Ethernet inputs, LDMOS amplifier, Nautel's industry leading AUI web interface, and both linear and non-linear adaptive pre-correction all in a compact enclosure. In the NT500 a spectrum analyzer and real-time MER measurement are provided, and are optional for the NT150 and the new NT250. Operating in the UHF Wide Band spectrum (470 810 MHz), the NT Series products support four major worldwide digital TV transmission standards. An attractive platform for low power TV broadcasting, retransmission or gap-filler applications, the units are backed by Nautel's renowned worldwide support.

The series includes the 4 RU NT150 and NT250, with digital power output of 2 150 and 2- 250 Watts respectively and the NT500, a 5 RU unit with digital power output of 10 500 Watts.
