Radio Televisi n Espa ola ser la encargada como host broadcaster de retransmitir la gala de entrega de los IV Premios Platino del Cine Iberoamericano que tienen lugar este s bado en la Caja M gica de Madrid. La se al, adem s de seguirse en Televisi n Espa ola, se enviar a una quincena de televisiones de toda Am rica como Caracol (Colombia), Galavisi n (EE.UU.), TC Televisi n (Ecuador), Televisa (M xico), RPC (Panam ), Canal 13 (Paraguay), Univis n (Puerto Rico) o Venevisi n (Venezuela), entre otras.
La 1 de TVE emitir en directo la gala de entrega (22.05), La 2 conectar (21:30) con la alfombra roja, y RTVE.es ofrecer la gala en directo y un programa especial desde las 20:00. Las pel culas y series participadas por RTVE optan a 17 premios, entre las que destacan Neruda, con cinco candidaturas, y Julieta and The distinguished citizen, que optan a cuatro galardones. Adem s, El ministerio del Tiempo and Cuatro estaciones en la Habana est n nominadas en la nueva categor a dedicada a Mejor Serie Iberoamericana.
La gala de entrega de los IV Premios Platino, presentada por el humorista espa ol Carlos Latre y la actriz y cantante uruguaya Natalia Oreiro, se celebrar en la Caja M gica de Madrid y reconocer a las mejores producciones del cine iberoamericano.
Presencias tan destacadas como las de los realizadores Pedro Almod var y Juan Antonio Bayona se suman a otros como Miguel Angel Silvestre, Rossy de Palma o John Leguizamo que participar n activamente en la gala.
Los premios m s importantes del cine iberoamericano hecho ambos lados del Atl ntico buscan un a o m s lanzar un mensaje de uni n entre los pueblos. Para ello re nen a los cineastas m s destacados a nivel mundial como Pedro Almod var, que opta con Julieta a un total de cuatro estatuillas (entre las que se encuentra la de mejor pel cula); o J.A. Bayona, quien parte con el mayor n mero de candidaturas, un total de siete, por A monster comes to see me. Bayona adem s se encuentra rodando la secuela de una de las cinco pel culas m s taquilleras de todos los tiempos: Jurassic World.
En el apartado de mejor interpretaci n femenina, la actriz espa ola Emma Su rez competir junto a las otras cuatro finalistas confirmadas: Angie Cepeda, Juana Acosta, Sonia Braga y Natalia Oreiro, quien adem s presentar la gala junto a Carlos Latre. Emma podr a redondear una gran temporada de premios, donde entre otros obtuvo el Premio Jos Mar a Forqu gracias al papel protagonista del ltimo largometraje de Almod var.
Esta cuarta edici n de los Premios Platino, el mayor evento de difusi n del s ptimo arte en espa ol y portugu s, crea una nueva categor a que reconoce a la Mejor Miniserie o Teleserie Cinematogr fica Iberoamericana'.
Trabajos de 13 pa ses
La gala de los Premios Platino contar con trabajos de un total de 13 pa ses de la regi n entre las 42 producciones finalistas, de las 847 que concurrieron. A monster comes to see me de Juan Antonio Bayona, con 7 nominaciones; Neruda de Pablo Larra n, con cinco; From there de Lorenzo Vigas, The distinguished citizen de Gast n Duprat y Mariano Cohn, The man of a thousand faces de Alberto Rodr guez, Julieta de Pedro Almod var y The thin yellow line de Celso Garc a, con cuatro todas ellas son los t tulos que suman m s opciones para alcanzar la estatuilla de los primeros galardones globales del cine en portugu s y espa ol. Todas ellas participaron en festivales de clase A, los m s prestigiosos, como Venecia, Mar del Plata o San Sebasti n, lo que demuestra el gran momento que viven las filmograf as iberoamericanas.
Los Premios Platino est n promovidos por EGEDA (Entidad de Gesti n de Derechos de los Productores Audiovisuales), con FIPCA (Federaci n Iberoamericana de Productores Cinematogr ficos y Audiovisuales), y cuenta con el apoyo de las Academias e Institutos de cine iberoamericanos, Latin Artist y la Fundaci n AISGE, que trabajan desde su primera edici n en 2014, para conseguir una visibilidad mayor para el cine iberoamericano en el mundo y que nuestro cine tenga la distribuci n que se merece a nivel internacional.
