Dubbing Production Manager

In a nutshell we are looking for somebody to manage the dubbing process from start to finish including all aspects of the budget, script translation, casting, scheduling, dubbing engineers, cast and supplier management through to delivery of final material to client. To start immediately.

You will be responsible for running the dubbing production on behalf of the producer and ensuring that budget is managed, tight deadlines are met and consistently high quality dubbing standards are maintained.

Roles and Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for managing the entire process of dubbing approximately 100 hours of content from Portuguese to English

Strict weekly deadlines must be achieved and it will be your responsibility to manage the dubbing team in order to meet these deadlines. Your competence and leadership skills will be the key to achieving and maintaining this deliverable

You will manage all aspects of the budget and will be responsible for the financial management and expenditure of the translation, adaption, cast and studio budgets

You will secure, manage and negotiate with multiple suppliers including in-house and freelance engineers, translators, dubbing directors and actors

You will audition dubbing actors in conjunction with the producer and liaise with the client in terms of cast selection

You will be responsible for preparing, updating and distributing accurate daily schedules based on the required number of dubbed minutes per performer and studio per day

You will be responsible for establishing, managing and maintaining efficient communication within the dubbing team to ensure all parties have the information they need to do their jobs to the best of their ability

You will set up and manage a system to ensure that the number of dubbed minutes are recorded and documented each day and that the number of dubbed minutes per performer are recorded and documented to ensure accurate performer compensation on a monthly basis

You will be responsible for providing the bookkeeper with accurate performance records (total number of dubbed minutes) per performer on a monthly basis to ensure accurate performer payroll information

You will liaise with the client in West African regarding delivery of digital assets, QC and other technical aspects of the project

You speak French or Portuguese

Youve worked on other dubbing projects

Youve worked in West Africa
