Slovakias Jeenius Faculty of Medicine invests in Quantel for SD medical video production

Slovakias leading medical school, Jessenius Faculty of Medicine, has chosen Quantel Pablo Rio 4K high-quality color and finishing software for the recording and finishing of stereoscopic 3D videos of medical procedures. The faculty, a research arm of Bratislavas Comenius University, has also purchased a Neo Nano panel for enhanced and interactive stereo and color control. The Pablo Rio system was sold via Quantels Slovakia-based partner, AVDigital s.r.o.

The videos created on Pablo Rio will be used to demonstrate surgical techniques to medical students - an area where stereoscopic 3D has proven itself particularly useful in giving students an extra dimension to their learning.
