Company expands dubbing and accessibility capabilities to Spain, Germany, and France
Visual Data, a worldwide provider of localization services and end-to-end digital media supply chain solutions, announced today it has acquired 100% of EVA Localisation, one year after making a strategic investment in this leading, European-based provider of dubbing and accessibility services.
The acquisition highlights Visual Data's strategy to continue expanding its global footprint in localization and access service capabilities, including multi-language dubbing and subtitling. EVA, a European leader, operates 56 state-of-the-art studios across France, Germany, and Spain with a team of international experts and diverse talent. EVA and Visual Data now offer an even more comprehensive solution set and expanded capacity of services supporting content creators and distributors worldwide, as well as the local regions they serve.
The global content landscape looks vastly different than it did even one year ago, said John Trautman, CEO, Visual Data. Streaming services are looking to more effectively curate their content in key markets, which raises the stakes when it comes to delivering localization services that support their business requirements. With EVA, we are better equipped than ever to support our customers in delivering high-quality localized content.
As Visual Data expands dubbing capabilities and moves into new areas, including audio books and podcasts, EVA's globally recognized and locally trusted localization services, led by Angel Martin, CEO of EVA, will be critical to ensuring seamless content workflows and customer demand fulfillment.

Angel Martin's track record of growth and client-focused strategies has positioned EVA as a premier localization and accessibility specialist in Europe. He will continue to lead EVA's European studios and will work closely with Simon Constable, Visual Data's EVP of Global Language Services to drive continued global expansion in dubbing services.
We anticipate the need for greater capacity and talent in key markets, and we want to ensure our clients have access to these services when they need them, said Constable. Being able to provide complete workflow management for digital media processing and localization in as many languages as possible is a huge benefit to our customers. EVA will play a key role in that strategy.
Ana Arbona, Martina Berninger, and Thierry Baudry will continue with their strategic roles as Managing Directors of EVA in Spain, Germany, and France, respectively. Their extensive industry experience, deep understanding of the localization supply chain, and attention to quality will help guide the future-focused initiatives of the company.
Since its founding in 1995 by Trautman, Visual Data has grown organically and through a series of partnerships and acquisitions. In 2020, Visual Data partnered with Endeavour Capital to fuel the company's growth and help drive momentum around expansion of service offerings and global footprint. With the addition of EVA, the company has become one of the leading media and localization services providers with locations in Burbank, London, Spain, Germany, France, Bangalore, and Manila.
