At IBC 2013 we are introducing new strategic partnerships and a lot of major additions to the functionality of our product range. There are rich media enhancements in our mediARC archiving flagship, and the actLINE product range has new support for open source video formats such as ffv1 together with new third-party transcoders, while mediARC workflows benefit from new third-party video QC modules. Framelector too is massively improved with support for multiple audio channels in the video ingest module as well as RF readout. Jean-Christophe Kummer, Managing Partner
New Products for the 2013 IBC Show
From IBC 2013, mediARC will feature new enhancements for the inclusion of rich media including full support for videoscene detection, updated streaming servers for easier intranet content preview of rich content and video content, and the ability to launch retranscoding export operations via API from lossless compressed videoarchive formats.
The actLINE range includes a collection of new feaures including full mediABUTLER support for
WMV, and open source video formats such as ffv1, and the integration of third-party transcoders such as RHOZET Carbon Coder for all typical production formats. NOA will also be demonstrating a new QC module for video quality control, and will announce several strategic partnerships.
New ingestLINE features include native RF read out for Framelector and multiple audio channel support.
