September 3rd, 2024 Hollywood, CA - MTI FILM is proud to announce that it has been honored with a Technical Engineering Emmy Award at the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards. The award was presented in recognition of the significant impact MTI FILM's DRS Nova software system has made on television post-production.
DRS Nova has become an industry standard in digital restoration, helping to preserve and restore countless hours of television content for nearly three decades. The software's advanced algorithms and tools have been instrumental in bringing aging and damaged footage back to life, ensuring that television's history remains accessible and vibrant for future generations.
The Television Academy recognized the exceptional contributions of MTI FILM's inventors Stuart Geman and Kevin Manbeck, as well as senior software engineers John Mertus and Michael Braca, whose innovations and dedication have been pivotal in developing and enhancing DRS Nova.
