DIRECTOR ALBERT SOL WILL PREMIERE EXAMINATION OF CONSCIENCE, HIS NEW DOCUMENTARY ABOUT CATHOLIC CHURCH ABUSE

Madrid, January 10th 2019.- Netflix has announced today a new three episode documentary series titled Examination of Conscience directed by journalist and director Albert Sol , winner of a Goya Award for his documentary Bucharest, Memory Lost .

The documentary series explores sexual abuse cases in Spanish Catholic Church institutions through testimonies from victims, journalists, experts and clergy members. This new original production exposes the complexity and magnitude of this situation.

This documentary series is one of the most complicated challenges I have faced in my career: because of the range of the topic that covers, with all likelihood, a never imagined magnitude and because we had to manage very personal and difficult stories that have been buried under a thick blanket of silence for decades said Albert Sol .

Examination of Conscience, directed by Albert Sol and produced by Zeta Cinema, Zeta Audiovisual and Minimal Films, will be available on Netflix on January 25th.
