RICHARD AYOADE CONFIRMED AS KEYNOTE SPEAKER AT BVE 2015 23 January 2015

Award-winning comedian, actor, director and writer will discuss his experiences with Adam Buxton at UK's essential broadcast and production event

BVE 2015 is pleased to confirm that Richard Ayoade, the comedian, actor, director, writer and presenter, will take part in a keynote session titled In conversation with Richard Ayoade on Wednesday 25th February 2015 at 5pm in the 4K Theatre.

Ayoade's career to date has included notable appearances on comedy shows including The IT Crowd, The Mighty Boosh and Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, going on to direct and write feature films The Double and the award-winning Submarine. He has also directed music videos for bands including Arctic Monkeys, Vampire Weekend and Kasabian, and he presents the Channel 4 TV show Gadget Man.

The BVE session will take Ayoade back through his career, examining his experiences and the challenges he has faced in the industry. The interview will be led by Adam Buxton, the writer, actor and performer perhaps best known for his Adam and Joe collaborations with comedy partner Joe Cornish. Buxton writes and performs the music video show Bug on Sky Atlantic, and has appeared in the feature films Hot Fuzz and Stardust.

BVE 2015 takes place from 24-26 February 2015 at ExCeL London and registration is now open.
