Now Mobitel LTE/4G for Pre-Paid Users Too Ljubljana, 2 September - Telekom Slovenije is the first Slovenian provider to offer the benefits of high-speed LTE to pre-paid mobile users. Users with existing pre-paid mobile internet packages can add Mobitel LTE/4G data transfer as a free add-on, which can be activated at will. After activation, users have access to the Mobitel LTE/4G network anywhere there is LTE coverage, so far in 55 locations throughout Slovenia, providing coverage to almost 50% of the population. That puts Slovenia among the first countries in the world to offer LTE to pre-paid users as well.

Terms and conditions for using high-speed Mobitel LTE/4G data transfer are the same as for subscribers: a device which can access LTE (a PC or tablet, USB-modem, mobile WiFi access point), USIM-card, and activated Hitri internet LTE/4G service. Pre-paid mobile internet users who would like to use the Mobitel LTE/4G network for data transfer should send a text message to 1918 with the key word LTE , or activate high-speed data transfer via the moj.telekom.si portal.

Telekom Slovenije's new portfolio of LTE products provides significantly faster data rates, bringing a new standard in quality to mobile internet. This is now available to an even broader range of users, as LTE is now available not just to subscribers, but also pre-paid users, who generally need access to the web less frequently. That way, pre-paid users can purchases as many days of unlimited internet as they need, an especially welcome bit of news for foreigners who visit Slovenia for just a limited period of time, as well as for all those who would like to use mobile internet without a subscription.

Now these users can take advantage of an attractive offer, as one day of internet use costs just 1, while they can get 30 days for 10 and 100 days for just 20. Users have a choice between 2 packages; the first costs 9.90 and comes with a SIM card, and the second for 79 comes with a ZTE MF60 uFi mobile access point. To accompany LTE's availability to pre-paid users, Telekom also introduced a new package, available at its online store, which comes with a Huawei E3276 LTE USB modem for the great price of just 99. There are two other LTE access points in the Mobitel LTE/4G range, namely the ZTE MF91D and the Huawei E5776s. All prices include VAT.

Telekom Slovenije unveiled its Mobitel LTE/4G network this spring, and within 5 months succeeded in covering almost 50% of the population with LTE, bringing them download speeds of up to 100Mb/s and upload speeds up to 50Mb/s. The LTE network is powered by 157 base stations and is available in 55 locations around the country. Along with the network, Telekom Slovenije's users can take advantage of sales on 21 different LTE devices, from mobile phones and tablets, to USB modems and MiFi devices, with options for paying in installments.

Telekom Slovenije improved its range of LTE devices with a few additions, including the eagerly anticipated Samsung Galaxy TAB 3 8.0 LTE, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, which is water and scratch-resistant, and the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom, which comes with a great camera. These high-tech Galaxy S4 devices feature attractive sale prices.
