--
The Older Persons (Pensioners) Grant is the first to pay.

The next social grant paying is the Disability Grant.
--

Childcare, Foster Child, and In-Aid Grants will pay on the 5 April, 2024.
Is the website offline? You should call ahead to check if the payment system is online or not.
Systems are dependent on loads and might not be online when you check.
Save time.
SASSA: What about the SRD Grant? Unemployed South Africans can apply for the Social Relief of Distress Grant. This grant pays out later during April.
Expect your SRD Grants later this month, closer to the month's end date.
You can still apply for this grant through their website.
Register on the website using your ID Number to start.
Remember to make sure that it's a real government website. Scams will just steal your information!
SASSA: Rejected? A social grant can be rejected after an unsuccessful means test.
The means test assesses your income and other details.
Each month, grants are rejected or approved.
If your grant has been wrongfully rejected, contact SASSA for more information. Send a message within 30 days and complain in writing.
Sometimes assessments are incorrect.
About SASSA SASSA is the government's primary social grant payment agency.
It's short for the South African Social Security Agency.
The Department of Social Development (DSD) is their controlling department. Direct your messages to the Social Security Agency first.
Need more information? Contact the Social Security Agency for more information.
All social grant information is available on their website. You can also ask if there's anything you can't find or want to know!
Remember: information is free and empowers all South Africans.
