Dailymotion unveils two new sailing partnerships Download PDF.

Dailymotion, the world's second largest video portal, is building upon its live sports content through two new partnerships that will bring some of the most popular and exciting sailing races to its global audience.

The deals with Extreme Sailing and with Real TV Group will show the Extreme Sailing Series from around the globe and the Kieler Woche, Germany's biggest sailing event. Full details are below.

The success of our partnership with Vend e Globe for their 2012/13 race, with more than 20 million views in the first month alone, showed the appetite for high quality sailing events. These new deals will continue to bring excellent live sporting content to our audience of over 112 million viewers and essential exposure to race organisers, helping them to grow their audiences and increase sponsorship opportunities.

Kieler Woche

Kieler Woche runs from 22nd- 30th June and is the final regatta of the seven regattas included in the fourth edition of the ISAF Sailing World Cup, the annual series for Olympic sailing.

It is one of the most important competitions for national and international sailors. Every year more than three million people from 70 countries visit the biggest summer festival in northern Europe.

Through the partnership with Real TV Dailymotion will show a wide range of content from the race including sailing-news, live-regattas and behind the scenes-features. Daily Live feeds will run from 11:30 until 14:30 and again from 17:00 until 17:45 for the daily magazine show.

Extreme Sailing Series

From 25th 28th July Dailymotion will show the fifth Act of the 2013 Extreme Sailing Series live from Porto, Portugal, where the Extreme 40s will race on the most compact racecourse they have ever faced.

Now in its seventh season, the award-winning Extreme Sailing series is raced annually in Extreme 40 catamarans and organised by OC Sport. Its main attraction is the stadium racing that puts the race course within throwing distance of the shore and the spectators.

Many of the sailors taking part in the series are around-the-world yachtsmen, Olympic medallists, America's Cup sailors, World and European champions and even world record holders
