Elemental Named Global Market Leader by SNL Kagan

Elemental Technologies, the leading supplier of video solutions for multiscreen content delivery, today announced it has been named the multiformat and over-the-top (OTT) video processing market leader across multiple regions by research released from SNL Kagan last week. The ranking follows an ABI Research report issued which was issued earlier this year and cited Elemental as the leader in live multiscreen encoder global market share.

In its report, SNL Kagan ranked vendors by region in terms of capacity for live high-definition (HD) and standard-definition (SD) streaming as well as installed file processing. All major encoding suppliers were requested to participate in the survey. Elemental secured a first place market position in the North American, Latin American and Caribbean and Western European regions and was top-three in all other regions.

As the SNL Kagan report noted, Elemental provides clear leadership in terms of HD and SD stream capacity in the most regions with more than 300 customers including major content owners and service providers.
