Multimedios implanta un flujo de trabajo en la nube con AWS Elemental y Amazon Web Services El broadcaster mexicano ampl a sus posibilidades de procesamiento, entrega y distribuci n de v deo online con AWS Cloud al tiempo que mejora la calidad, aumenta la eficiencia y acelerar el tiempo de nuevos servicios al mercado.
La cadena mexicana Multimedios Televisi n ha seleccionado las soluciones de procesamiento de v deo, distribuci n y almacenamiento de AWS elementary y Amazon Web Services (AWS) para la distribuci n de su contenido de video online. El acuerdo ampl a el despliegue AWS en el broadcaster con soluciones adicionales de procesamiento de v deo y distribuci n de contenido basadas en la nube, que comprende un flujo de trabajo de extremo a extremo para producir y entregar contenido para las plataformas online de Multimedios.
Multimedios Televisi n, perteneciente al Grupo Multimedios, es una red de televisi n terrestre con ocho afiliados locales en el norte de M xico. Produce y difunde programas originales de noticias, entretenimiento, deportes y otros espacios de utilidad p blica. Adem s de sus canales locales, Multimedios est disponible a nivel nacional a trav s de servicios de sat lite y cable, y da soporte a afiliados en los Estados Unidos y Canad .
Rommel Valencia, director de operaciones multimedia digitales de Multimedios, ha comentado que cuando adoptamos el software de codificaci n AWS Elemental en la nube, transform nuestro flujo de trabajo. Teniendo en cuenta el conjunto completo de servicios de procesamiento y distribuci n de v deo disponibles de AWS y AWS Elemental, ten a sentido explorar el valor que podr amos lograr con un flujo de trabajo de extremo a extremo, basado en la nube. Ahora, obtenemos una transmisi n en vivo de alta calidad y fiable, podemos publicar clips casi de inmediato y no dedicamos tiempo valioso a gestionar la infraestructura .
Multimedios introdujo por primera vez la tecnolog a AWS en su flujo de trabajo de v deo en 2015, implementando el software de codificaci n AWS Elemental Live para la codificaci n en tiempo real de v deo y audio de sus se ales de transmisi n para cuatro secuencias multipantalla en directo. Con el acuerdo reciente, la emisora ha incorporado soluciones adicionales en nube de AWS Elemental a trav s de su flujo de trabajo de procesamiento y publicaci n de v deo online.
En el flujo de trabajo de Multimedios, las soluciones AWS Elemental locales codifican se ales de emisi n en directo en emisiones RTMP para procesamiento de video en tiempo real en la nube. La potencia de AWS Elemental Live basado en la nube permite la codificaci n en tiempo real de tres secuencias de v deo en vivo en formatos de tasa de bits adaptativos. AWS Elemental Delta en la nube proporciona un empaquetado just-in-time (JITP) para video-on-demand (VOD), time-shift y catch-up para la red de distribuci n de contenido Amazon CloudFront (CDN) para la distribuci n basada en la nube de las transmisiones en directo a las plataformas online de Multimedios. Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) proporciona un almacenamiento en la nube basado en archivos flexible bajo demanda para los aspectos m s destacados del programa y el contenido de VOD.
Con su flujo de trabajo AWS de extremo a extremo, Multimedios se ha beneficiado de mejoras significativas en la calidad del v deo, al tiempo que le ha permitido incorporar programas de televisi n en vivo y otras funcionalidades que mejoran la experiencia de visualizaci n. Adem s, las herramientas de edici n basadas en la nube de MediaStream han agilizado la creaci n y publicaci n de clips en los canales de medios sociales y el portal web de Multimedios. Ahora, los redactores de la red publicar los clips online apenas se haya producido la emisi n.
