Exciting TV Series looking for Black Male Co-Host

13 part TV series covering forward-thinking partnerships between big business and the communities in which they work in Africa seeks mature, incisive black or coloured male co-host. An amazing opportunity for a skilled journo who likes to, or would like to, be on camera. Lots of travel across Africa. Shooting starts end Jan 2014.

Position needs to be filled ASAP so dont delay if you are a candidate.

Think: Two curious journalists/storytellers traveling the length and breadth of Africa to report on uplifting, best practise projects that help alleviate poverty, create jobs, ensure environmental sustainability and track the United Nations Millenium Development Goals. Think: The Lonely Planet of inclusive, sustainable partnerships.

VERY NB: We are not looking for an actor/presenter or someone who comes across as such. Rather, a journalist or someone who reads as such. Could even be an entrepreneur or economic or development specialist on Africa with personality. Must come across as intelligent but be not overbearing, pretentious or ego driven. We need a smart, curious investigator with a business and development mindset - or a journalist who is interested in everything, who cares deeply about the continent and can up-skill on context quickly.

Black or mixed-race male

Age 35 upwards - or who presents as such

Must live in or is be based in Cape Town from Jan 2014 to August 2014

Any Nationality

Passport in order with necessary blank pages.

Works well in a small traveling team and is prepared to help out when needed.

An authentic, real person on camera - just needs be themselves. We will not be doing to-camera stand-ups or presenter links.
