Call to nominate SA International Emmys judge --

Over the past four years the Cape Film Commission, with the support of the Department of Trade and Industry, has hosted semi-final judging for a number of International Emmy categories. This year the organisation is hosting one of the Documentary categories, with judging due to take place in June in Knysna, Western Cape. Members of the industry are invited to nominate suitable candidates to be considered as a judge, before the deadline on 6 February 2015.

Candidates must be Cape Film Commission members and, if selected, will need to travel to Knysna and avail themselves for a full day of judging. They must also be available to travel to the International Emmy Gala and World Television Festival in New York City in November 2015.

Candidate requirements include: a copy of company registration document, tax clearance certificate, certified copy of ID, current passport and projects suitable for the DTI SSAS scheme.

To nominate someone, email their name, organisation and contact details to: info@capefilmcommission.co.za. Once all nominations have been received, the relevant International Emmy application form will be forwarded to suitable applicants.
