xG Technologys Vislink Busine Receives $. Million Order from Major Worldwide News Organization for Wirele Camera Systems

(xG) (Nasdaq: XGTI, XGTIW), a leading provider of wireless video solutions to broadcast, law enforcement and defense markets, and private mobile broadband networks for critical communications, announced that its Vislink business has received an order valued at approximately $1.2 million for wireless camera systems from a major worldwide news organization.

The systems have been purchased for deployment throughout the U.S. for ad-hoc, untethered newsgathering production and operations. They will be utilized to provide live, real-time coverage of major news events, including both scheduled and breaking events, special reports and other features. They will also be used to support live in-studio system applications.

The purchase was the culmination of extensive testing that confirmed our wireless camera solutions were uniquely suited to address their needs.
