Gravity Media has appointed Marty Meyer as strategic account manager for Post-Production & Production Rentals in the USA. Meyer will be responsible for growing Gravity Media's presence in the Los Angeles production community and improving how Gravity Media delivers its rental products and suite of production services to its clients in Los Angeles and across North America.

Meyer is a veteran of the LA production community and prior to joining Gravity Media, she worked with broadcast production rental companies. As Director of Engineering for Wexler Video, a provider of equipment to reality television production, she ensured client satisfaction and obtained maximum utility of owned equipment, expediting company growth 30% in three years.

Meyer also served as Director of Business Development & Rental Manager for several Los Angeles-based rental companies, creating a competitive advantage in the marketplace and showcasing evolving technology while providing superior services for clients such as Live Nation and Fox Television.

Before working with production rental companies, Marty managed broadcast technical operations for ABC and CBS television where she earned an Emmy for her work on Olympic Sports coverage.

Meyer recently chaired the Hollywood section of SMPTE for two terms and remains an active participant in section leadership.
