Kommt der Anwender mit den bisherigen Tragzahlen zurecht, kann er mit X-life-Lagern dennoch seine Konstruktion optimieren, indem er eine kleinere Type einsetzt und damit Bauraum spart und Gewicht reduziert. Schaeffler erweitert sein Katalogportfolio kontinuierlich um neue, leistungsoptimierte X-life-Produkte, um so auf Kundenw nsche einzugehen und die Gesamt-Wirtschaftlichkeit von Maschinen und Anlagen zu erh hen.
Total Cost of Ownership , Leistungsdichte und Energieeffizienz entscheiden
Den Anwendern von W lzlagern wird zunehmend be wusst, dass der Kaufpreis eines Lagers nur ein Entscheidungskriterium von mehreren darstellt. Vielmehr m ssen die Lebensdauer und der Serviceaufwand sowie der m gliche Ausfall eines Lagers in die Kalkulation einbezogen werden. F r die Praxis bedeu tet das: Die Anwender entscheiden sich immer h ufiger f r ein h herwertiges W lzlager mit gesteigerter Lebens- und Gebrauchsdauer sowie l ngeren Wartungszyklen und h herer Zuverl ssigkeit. Ma schi nen, die mit lang lebigen W lzlagern ausger stet sind, bieten dies bez glich Vorteile im Wett bewerb.
Gleichzeitig ber cksichtigen viele Anwender von Maschinen heute bei ihren Investitionsentscheidungen st rker den Faktor Platzbedarf. Eine kompakte Bauweise verbessert also aus Herstellersicht die Wettbewerbsf higkeit einer Maschine. Zu den vorherrschenden Entwicklungstrends geh rt auch der Wunsch der Anwender nach h herer Energieeffizienz. In vielen produzieren den Unternehmen gibt es Zielmarken f r die Senkung des Energieverbrauchs in der Produktion. Auch die zunehmende Ber cksichtigung von Effizienzklassen f r Elektromotoren ( IE ) und anderen Einteilungen/Labels f r die Energieeffizienz tragen dazu bei, dass diesem Faktor gr ere Bedeutung beigemessen wird. W lzlager optimieren ber die Reibung den Energie verbrauch bzw. den Wirkungsgrad von Antrieben. Deshalb ist der Wunsch der Anwender erkennbar, reibungsarme W lzlager einzusetzen.
Konstruktive Details f r eine verbesserte Gesamt-Wirtschaftlichkeit
Diesen Trends in der Antriebstechnik entsprechen die W lz- und Gleitlager sowie Linearf hrungen in X-life-Qualit t. Bei gleichen Betriebsbedingungen ist die Gebrauchsdauer von X-life-Lagern erheblich l nger, bzw. k nnen diese umgekehrt bei den bisherigen Lebensdauerwerten h her belastet werden. Modernste Fertigungstechniken erm glichen ber die gesamte Kontaktfl che zwischen W lzk rper und Laufbahn eine bessere und gleichm igere Oberfl che. Die mithilfe modernster Analyse- und Auswertungsmethoden funktionsoptimal gestaltete Innenkonstruktion garantiert eine optimierte Kontaktfl chengeometrie und eine gleichm igere Lastverteilung im Inneren des Lagers. Damit verringert sich bei gleicher Belastung der Spannungszustand an den W lzk rpern und der Gegenlaufbahn. Daraus ergeben sich eine h here dynamische Tragzahl, eine h here nominelle Lebensdauer, geringere Reibung und niedrigere Lagertemperaturen sowie ein weniger beanspruchter Schmierstoff. Untersuchungen belegen: Die Optimierung von Lagerstellen mit X-life-Lagern erm glicht eine Verbesserung der Gesamt-Wirtschaftlichkeit einer entsprechenden Anwendung.
M glich wurde dies unter anderem durch die Entwicklung neuer, auf bestimmte Einsatzbedingungen hin optimierter Stahlsorten, die zum Beispiel geringere Anteile von nichtmetallischen Einschl ssen aufweisen. Eine weitere Optimierung der Leistung von W lzlagern resultiert aus den anspruchsvollen Berechnungs- und Auslegungstools - z.B. Bearinx -, die Schaeffler bei der (Weiter-) Entwicklung der einzelnen Lagerbauarten und -baureihen verwendet.
Kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung
Die ersten X-life-Lager wurden im Jahr 2003 vorgestellt. Seitdem wurden sukzessive nahezu alle Lagerbauarten intensiv derart weiterentwickelt, dass sie dank deutlich erh hter dynamischer Tragzahlen ins X-life-Portfolio aufgenom men werden konnten. Bew hrte Baureihen in X-life-Qualit t sind zum Beispiel FAG-Axial- und Radial-Pendelrollenlager, FAG-Kegelrollenlager, FAG-Schr gkugellager, FAG- und INA-Zylinderrollenlager sowie INA-Spannlager und Geh useeinheiten, INA-Massiv-Nadellager und INA-Axialschr gkugellager f r Gewindetriebe. In der Lineartechnik sind INA-Rollen- und Kugelumlaufeinheiten sowie hydrostatische Kompaktf hrungen in X-life-Qualit t ausgef hrt. Im Bereich Gleitlager sind X-life-Gro gelenklager mit ELGOGLIDE verf gbar.
Mit dem FAG-Toroidalrollenlager TORB stellt Schaeffler zur Hannover Messe 2015 eine neue Lagerbauart vor. Es handelt sich dabei um ein winkeleinstellbares Rollenlager in X-life-Qualit t. Das einreihige W lzlager verf gt ber lange, leicht ballige Rollen. Damit vereint es die Winkeleinstellbarkeit eines Pendelrollen
