
The ICAA calls for selective aid to the production of feature films on Project Estas ayudas dotadas con m s de 7 millones de euros destacan por un apoyo decidido a la labor de direcci n y de guion realizada exclusivamente por mujeres y a la animaci n
The Instituto de la Cinematograf a y de las Artes Audiovisuales (ICAA) ha convocado las ayudas selectivas a la producci n de largometrajes sobre proyecto 2019 con una dotaci n de 7.076.000 euros. Estas ayudas est n dirigidas a fomentar pel culas que posean un especial valor cinematogr fico, cultural o social, que tengan car cter documentary film, que incorporen a nuevos realizadores o de car cter experimental.
La convocatoria de este a o presenta algunas novedades con las que se pretende potenciar la producci n de obras de animation, favorecer la participaci n de personas con discapacidad y continuar avanzando en el fomento de la igualdad de g nero, con la mejora de los criterios de valoraci n de las ayudas a este respecto, en especial cuando existan proyectos desarrollados exclusivamente por mujeres.
La nueva convocatoria otorga 1 punto m s a los proyectos cuya direcci n y gui n se realicen exclusivamente por mujeres. Este punto se a ade a los que ya pudieran obtener independientemente: directora (3 puntos) y guionista (2 puntos). Adem s, se pasa de 2 a 3 puntos por la contrataci n de al menos un 40 % de mujeres como jefas de equipos t cnicos.
Apoyo a la animaci n Espa a produce obras de animaci n de calidad con alta aceptaci n por el p blico. Se trata de un sector que genera empleo joven y que, adem s, fomenta la celebraci n de contratos de trabajo con una duraci n m s prolongada que en otros sectores; por lo que con las novedades introducidas en esta convocatoria de ayudas se pretende favorecer la producci n de animaci n en nuestro pa s y la retenci n de talento ante un escenario muy competitivo.
De este modo, se otorgan 3 puntos, en lugar de los 2 de la convocatoria del a o pasado, y se ampl a hasta 3.000.000 euros el m ximo del presupuesto (hasta ahora el l mite era de 2.5000.000 euros).
Se reserva adem s un m nimo del 8 % del presupuesto destinado a estas ayudas, una vez repartido el porcentaje de documentales (que dispondr de entre el 15 % y 25 %).
Simplifica la tramitaci n Para acceder a estas ayudas, es requisito imprescindible tener contratado en la empresa o en el proyecto, al menos, a una persona con discapacidad superior al 33%. S lo los proyectos de car cter documental y experimental estar n exentos de esta normativa por ahora. El ICAA quiere as fomentar la inclusi n de personas con discapacidad en los proyectos de largometrajes. Hasta ahora su inclusi n otorgaba puntos.
Igualmente, la contrataci n de estudiantes en pr cticas, becarios, trabajador en pr cticas se ven fomentadas en esta convocatoria al aumentar de 1 a 2 puntos la participaci n: 1 punto por becario o estudiante en pr cticas y 1 punto por contrato en pr ctica o formaci n, de acuerdo con la normativa laboral y de Seguridad Social correspondiente.
Por otro lado, tambi n se simplifica la tramitaci n. Cuando varias empresas coproduzcan un proyecto, la solicitud a las ayudas deber ser presentada solo por una de ellas, que act a como productor-gestor del proyecto (coproductor que ejecute mayor gasto o, si ejecutan el mismo gasto, el que ellos decidan). Este cambio en la presentaci n del proyecto permitir a empresas con menos experiencia o solvencia coproducir y acceder a las ayudas.
Por ltimo, se ha actualizado y racionalizado el listado de los festivales, premios y honores puntuables en su otorgamiento.
En la elaboraci n de esta norma han sido consultadas las entidades representativas de los sectores afectados y las Comunidades Aut nomas.
Las solicitudes se podr n presentar desde hoy lunes, 13 de mayo, hasta el 6 de junio (14:00 horas).
