S o Paulo, May 12th, 2023 - Netflix released the trailer of Rich in Love 2, the sequel to the romantic comedy film starring Giovanna Lancellotti and Danilo Mesquita, which launches on the platform on June 2nd. The first feature film won the hearts of millions of people, achieving the first place in the ranking of most watched productions on Netflix in its debut in 2020, in Brazil.

In the new production, the couple Paula (Giovanna Lancellotti) and Teto (Danilo Mesquita) will face difficulties and will have to learn to deal with turbulence in the way. Paula goes after her dreams and resumes her work as a volunteer doctor, going into another mission with an indigenous community in Amazon. Teto, conversely, tries to convince his partners to establish his tomato cooperative in a village in the region, but in order to save the company from bankruptcy and win Paulas heart back, he must definitely overcome his spoiled habits and deal with the interests of a powerful farmer.

Rich in Love 2 has Alok on the soundtrack again, which this time brings new songs in collaboration with indigenous artists, in addition to J os participation in the films theme song.

The cast of the film is also composed of Fernanda Paes Leme, Jaffar Bambirra, Lell , Adanilo, Kay Sara, Aline Dias, Roney Villela, Ernani Moraes, among others and directed by Bruno Garotti, who signs the script alongside Sylvio Gon alves with collaboration by screenwriters Ma ra Oliveira and Jama Wapichana. Production is by Anan Filmes, with executive production by Julio Uch a and Irina Neves, photography by Dante Belluti and art direction by Claudia Andrade.
