Broadpeak's Origin Packager solution enables Taiwan Mobile to package and protect ABR content delivered to mobile devices, helping ensure outstanding video quality for subscribers while saving costly encoding and storage resources.
Taiwan Mobile saw that the 5G era sparked a surge in demand for streaming video amongst its users. Combining a just-in time packaging feature with a built-in cache mechanism, the BkS350 Origin Packager reduces the need for encoding and storage resources while providing a high throughput capacity - generating important cost savings. The Origin Packager solution packages video content in most popular ABR formats, including Apple HLS, MPEG-DASH, and CMAF. In addition, Broadpeak's Origin Packager offers exceptional reliability and scalability, allowing Taiwan Mobile to future-proof live multiscreen video delivery.
