Harris Corporation Names Reinaldo C.B. Rezende President of Brazil Operations

MELBOURNE, FL/RIO DE JANEIRO, December 9, 2013 Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS), an international communications and information technology company, has named veteran Latin America business leader Reinaldo C.B. Rezende president of operations in Brazil. In this new role, Rezende is responsible for the companys operations, business development, marketing, shared services and government relations in Brazil. He will help increase Harris infrastructure and partnerships in the region and support efforts to expand its presence particularly in the commercial energy, healthcare, public safety, government, military, and civilian agency markets. Rezende brings to Harris nearly 30 years of in-country business development experience. He joins Harris from General Electric, where he was an executive in the Global Accounts Group. Prior to that role, he held a number of leadership positions at Halliburton, a global leader in the energy industry, where he was responsible for growing revenue and earnings, including Brazil country operations manager, Brazil country business development manager, Latin America business development manager, and global account manager for Petrobras, an integrated energy company. Rezende holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Brazils Universidade Cat lica de Petr polis, a masters in business administration from Universidade de S £o Paulo, a masters in finance from Ibmec, and a masters in operations and total quality management from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte. He also is a graduate of the Mays Business School Center for Executive Development at Texas A&M University. Reinaldo is a seasoned business leader with a proven track record of building effective relationships and delivering results in Brazil, said William M.
