CES 2014: Life and Design are in Tune with Samsung's 2014 Home Entertainment Line-up on Jan 03, 2014 Design and engineering combine for an entertainment experience throughout the home.
Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., a global leader in digital media and digital convergence technologies, today announced an expanded range of audio products aimed at elevating the entertainment experience across the home.
With its new Wireless Audio Multiroom System, Samsung has greatly expanded the ways consumers can enjoy superb sound in every room of the house. The new Samsung multi-room ecosystem sees new dedicated wireless audio products introduced and the technology extended across its new 2014 flagship soundbar, Blu-ray player and home entertainment systems products. The new product line reflects the growing demand for solutions that offer consumers the ability to manage multiple audio sources in multiple locations.
CES 2014 introductions include:
Two Samsung Wireless Audio Multiroom speakers - the M7 and M5. They can be used alone or in combination with other wireless multiroom speakers to create a whole home multiroom system. Two M5's or M7's can be paired to create a wider stereo effect in a single room, or combine 5 speakers with a compatible Samsung TV, to create a fully wireless 5.1 system.
Samsung's stylish and versatile flagship Wireless Sound Bar - the HW-H750. Using valve amp technology and wireless multiroom compatibility, it's the most advanced soundbar to date. Combine the HW-H750 with two M5's or two M7's or a fully wireless 5.1 system.
Samsung HT-H7750 7.1 Home Entertainment System. Fully compatible with the Samsung wireless audio ecosystem and using valve amp technology, the HT-H7750 is an all in one 4K upscaling Blu-ray 7.1 surround sound home entertainment system. Featuring wireless rear speakers, Samsung's 2014 Smart Hub, and compatibility with the Samsung Wireless Audio MultiRoom system.
The HW-H610 Sound Stand offers an ideal solution for those who want a soundbar for a stand mounted TV. With its sleek design, active crossovers and vibration reduction technology, it's the perfect balance of design, space efficiency and sound quality.
Guy Kinnell, Head of TV and AV, Samsung UK, said: Samsung's latest additions in audio technology give consumers big, high-quality sound that is easy to incorporate into their entertainment experience. Building on our industry-leading 2013 range, which saw Samsung become the most awarded AV brand, the 2014 line-up not only delivers superior sound and breakthrough design but also the flexibility of wireless support to take the home entertainment experience to the next level.
Samsung Wireless Audio - Multiroom system
Easy plug-and-play installation makes network set-up a breeze between Samsung AV products: simply connect the multiroom product or optional Samsung Hub to a router, plug in, and download the free app to effortlessly control multiple speakers and audio sources from a smartphone.
The Shape offers visual harmony within any room environment. Its unique design affords a wide variety of placement choices, allowing it to fit snugly in the corner of the wall and be positioned vertically or horizontally for maximum versatility.
Samsung Soundbars - Enriched TV Sound with Elegant Low-Profile Hardware
Samsung's HW-H750 Soundbar amplifies any home entertainment experience with 320W of great sound. Delivering full cinematic and lifelike sound to enhance the home theatre experience, the Soundbar combines the warmth and natural sound of valve amplification with the latest digital audio technology to deliver a rich and powerful sound. With its sleek, metallic design, the HW-H750 is destined to look as good as it sounds when paired with a large screen TV. The unit also is compatible with Samsung's growing roster of Wireless Audio-Multiroom products to further expand music options in the home.
The HW-H610 Sound Stand is designed to fit under TVs ranging in size from 32 inches up to 55 inches. Its Multi-direction technology provides rich 4.2-channel sound in a sleek, low-profile (1.4inch) design. It's the perfect accompaniment to a bedroom TV, or a main TV in a smaller space, where a complex sound system won't fit.
Both the Soundbar and the Sound Stand make it easy and convenient for consumers to set up a wireless connection with the TV. They also support Samsung's TV Sound Connect feature, which outputs TV audio through the devices wirelessly. This greatly simplifies and streamlines installation of either system at home.
