Wimbledon may be over but thanks to Stella the stories of the characters behind the scenes will live on long after the players have gone home.

Finish are pleased to have worked on three films in the series, two of which Rufus The Real Hawk eye and Fastest Racket Stringer in the West have now launched.

Rufus The Real Hawk Eye tells the tale of how Wimbledon Tennis Club got shot of their most unwanted visitor to the court, the humble pigeon. The pesky birds had plagued play for years and in 2000 Rufus, the Hawk was employed to scare them off. Directed by James Griffths through Indy8, the film introduces the feathered member of Wimbledon security using stunning cinematography and slow motion to capture his beauty. The clever voice over helps to capture the essence of the birds character. This film was graded by Paul Harrison with Steve Murgatroyd on Flame. The film has had nearly 2 million hits on youtube since launching.

The Fastest Racket Stringer in the West also directed by James Griffith follows the true story of two racket stringers during the fourth round of Wimbledon in 2001 when both players rackets suffered broken strings at the same time, taking the drama below court where the two stringers raced to get their players racket finished first. The fastest racket stringer almost certainly guaranteed success for their player in this tense string off!
