Harris Corporation Named One of the Top Military Friendly Companies by G.I. Jobs and U.S. Veterans Magazine MELBOURNE, Florida, November 16, 2012 Harris Corporation (NYSE: HRS) has been named to G.I. Jobs and U. S. Veterans magazines list of companies that have a strong commitment to hiring military veterans. For the fifth consecutive year, Harris was recognized by G.I. Jobs as one of the top 100 military-friendly companies in the U. S. Harris is ranked 76 on the list. Selection was based on the strength of military recruiting efforts, the percentage of new hires with prior military service and company policies toward National Guard and Reserve service. U. S. Veterans Magazines annual Best of the Best lists are compiled from market research, independent research, confidential employee interviews and responses to surveys. Harris shares this honor with 99 other top-rated companies who are renowned for their achievements in recruiting and employing veterans.
