Lise Heidal joins NEP Broadcast Services Europe

NEP Group has announced a number of key appointments to its European operations.

Lise Heidal is joining the company on 1st April as president, NEP Europe for NEP Broadcast Services.

She will set the strategy, priorities and focus areas for nine countries in Northern, Central and Southern Europe, as well as in the UK and Ireland, to lead the future planning of NEP's broadcast services businesses, said the company.

Heidal joins NEP from Norway's TV 2 where she was VP of production. Prior to that, she served as managing director of NEP Norway.

Christer P lsson has been named chief commercial officer for Europe, reporting into Heidal. Prior to joining NEP, P lsson was head of international sales for Mediatec Broadcasting Company, which became a part of NEP in 2015.

Jose (Tex) Teixeira will join NEP on 4th April initially as president for NEP Nordics, Central and Southern Europe. He joins with over 30 years of sports broadcast experience, having most recently served as chief content officer for SuperSport and as their Interim CEO in 2023.

Arjan van Westerloo and Steve Jenkins will continue in their current roles as president, NEP The Netherlands, and president, NEP UK and Ireland, respectively, said the company.
