Sindi and Ayanda got hitched on the two-part, three-day wedding special on SABC 3's The Estate which ended with their white wedding on Friday 15 October.

AYANDA AND SINDI GET HITCHED It is the union of the Phakathwayo and Nkosi families as they unite to celebrate the love of Ayanda, played by Maxx Moticoe and Sindisiwe, played by Zenokuhle Maseko. The two-part, three-day wedding special aired on Wednesday 13 October which kicked off with the traditional ceremonies which were held for the couple.

Fans of the drama series were impressed with the traditional wedding and took to Twitter to gush.

THE TYPICAL WEDDING DRAMA Is it even a wedding if there is no drama? Over the wedding special viewers remained glued to their screens because they feared Sindi's love Dumisani, played by Mpho Sibeko may show up to object to the wedding and ruin the day.

Dumisani surprised viewers when he did show up, but decided to choose peace. However, he later wrote Sindi a letter asking her to leave Ayanda for him. In the poetic letter he poured out his heart to Sindi, obviously leaving her torn between the two.

The connection between Castro, played by Aubrey Poo and Mmakoena, played by Dineo Langa caught the attention of many. The chemistry between the pair could be felt as they shared a special moment together.

In a clip shared to Twitter by the production house, he is seen gushing over her beauty.

I know you've been going through a lot and I just want to say I see you. I see the beautiful, ambitious, driven determined woman that you are. And when everything is said and done I think you need an equal, he said.
