SCTE SEEKS NOMINATIONS FOR 2015 EXPO AWARDS

APRIL 10, 2015 (Exton, PA) In the spirit of honoring exemplary achievement, the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) has announced that nominations are being accepted starting today for the prestigious 2015 SCTE Cable-Tec Expo Awards.

The deadline is Friday, May 22 for nominations for the SCTE Member of the Year Award, the SCTE Hall of Fame induction, the SCTE Excellence in Standards Award, and the SCTE Safety Awards. Here are the website links to the respective online nomination forms:

The awards will be presented at SCTE Cable-Tec Expo 2015, which is slated for Tuesday through Friday, Oct. 13 16, in New Orleans. The Member of the Year and Hall of Fame honors will be presented during the Annual Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, Oct. 14. SCTE-Tuck Executive Leadership Program speaker Punam Keller will deliver the luncheon's keynote address.

SCTE Cable-Tec Expo is the Society's always highly anticipated annual flagship event where technical problems and problem solvers meet. The official launch of registration for Expo, the cable telecommunications engineering show of the year, is slated for later this month.
