Feature Additions to the AVN-AIO4 and AVN-AIO8 Multi-Channel Dante Audio Interfaces

Sonifex has added some new features to the existing multi-channel Dante converters, the AVN-AIO4 and AVN-AIO8, together with the addition of the dual port AVN-AIO8R.

Modifications have been made to the layout of the front panels enabling a consistency of look throughout the range. In addition, these new versions have adjustable global 0dBFS line up selection ( 12dBu/ 18dBu/ 24dBu).

The AVN-AIO4 audio converter and interface converts up to four analogue inputs and four analogue outputs to and from the Dante network. It is simple to configure and operate, with all set-up, except line-up levels, done via the standard Dante Controller software and power via PoE (Power Over Ethernet).

Similarly the AVN-AIO8 audio converter and interface converts up to eight analogue inputs and eight analogue outputs to and from the Dante Audio-over-IP networking standard.

All analogue inputs and outputs are on high-quality Neutrik XLR connectors and there are front panel status/confidence LEDs for PoE, Link, and Clock. Global 0dBFS line-up can be set to 12dBu, 18dBu or 24dBu to meet your specific requirement via the front panel recessed toggle switch.

The AVN-AIO8R has all the features of the AVN-AIO8 with the addition of Dual Ethernet ports which allow the unit to operate in redundant mode, ensuring audio routing is maintained in the event of loss of link on either of the network connections.
