Ericsson and America Movil will deploy the first set of test 5G in Brazil during 2016 Ericsson participar en nuevos proyectos de investigaci nes de 5G junto con la Universidad de S o Paulo, la Universidad de Campinas y la Universidad Federal de Cear .
Coincidiendo con la visita de la presidenta de Brasil, Dilma Rouseff, a la sede central de Ericsson en Estocolmo, la multinacional ha anunciado que incrementar su apoyo a Brasil en el cumplimiento de su agenda digital.
Hans Vestberg, presidente y CEO de Ericsson, ha indicado que las TIC pueden apoyar la transformaci n de pr cticamente todos los sectores de la sociedad, as como de todas las industrias. Estoy convencido de que la pr xima generaci n de banda ancha m vil y de Internet de las Cosas (IoT), habilitadas mediante 5G, acelerar n a n m s las oportunidades para avanzar en reas como la salud, la educaci n, la energ a y la
agricultura, as como en nuevos entornos industriales .
Como parte de la activaci n de la agenda digital de Brasil, Ericsson junto a la operadora Am rica M vil, desplegar n el primer sistema de prueba 5G en Brasil durante 2016.
Adem s, Ericsson y Am rica M vil implementar n un sistema de prueba para el IoT, permitiendo a las industrias brasile as y al sector p blico prepararse para la transformaci n de las TIC. El sistema de prueba del IoT se centrar espec ficamente en aplicaciones con bateria de bajo consumo, como los sensores de baja potencia para las zonas remotas.
Vestberg ha indicado que en 5G, nuestro objetivo es comprender c mo la sociedad y la industria utilizar n los sistemas. Para tener disponibles redes comerciales en uso en 2020, Ericsson se ha asociado con Am rica M vil, lo que nos permite habilitar el primer sistema de prueba 5G en Brasil, como una clara demostraci n de nuestra ventaja competitiva, y, al mismo tiempo, sacar la investigacion de los laboratorios y probarla en una red de ensayos viva .

Adem s de la investigaci n sobre 5G, en colaboraci n con la Universidad Federal de Cear (UFC), Ericsson tambi n llevar a cabo lo siguientes programas adicionales, con la Universidad de S o Paulo (USP) y la Universidad de Campinas (UNICAMP), previstos para 2017:
Ciber-sistemas f sicos con la USP y la UNICAMP: redes que se comunican sin intervenci n humana; sistemas de comunicaci n aut nomos basados en sensores. Estos podr an, por ejemplo, sentar las bases para las redes viales, ya que permiten la comunicaci n con las autoridades de tr fico en caso de emergencia, o con sistemas metereol gicos que vigilan las condiciones de la carretera, para los veh culos sin conductor.
MiMo (m ltiple entrada m ltiple salida) con UFC: dise o avanzado con m ltiples antenas en estaciones base y sistemas de terminales de usuario (MIMO) para 5G. El objetivo es aumentar de manera significativa la capacidad de los sistemas actuales de comunicaci n inal mbrica.
D2D (asignaci n de recursos de radio inteligente) con UFC: control y calidad de prestaci n del servicio en los sistemas 5G. Gracias al uso de algoritmos y t cnicas de asignaci n de recursos inal mbricos, la idea es permitir mayor velocidad de bits y mejorar la satisfacci n de los usuarios de sistemas de comunicaci n m vil 5G.
