TVU Networks and STAR Communications to Showcase TVU Grid IP Video Distribution and TVUPack Cellular Uplink Solutions at InterBEE 2013

(Mountain View, CA - November 5, 2013) - TVU Networks,the global technology leader in live mobile electronic newsgathering (ENG) solutions today announced that TVU Grid, TVUs award-winning IP video switching, routing and distributions solution and the family of TVUPack 3G/4G/LTE cellular uplink solutions will be on display at the 2013 InterBEE show, November 13-15 at the Makuhari Messe International Convention Complex in Chiba, Japan.
At the conference, visitors to the STAR Communications booth number 7305, Hall 7 will see live demonstrations of a number of innovative solutions from TVU Networks including seeing the InterBEE debut of TVU Grid, a powerful IP video switching, routing and distribution solution that gives broadcasters the ability to easily and cost effectively share live video streams between multiple remote locations and seamlessly switch between them with virtually no latency. TVU Grid offers broadcasters unlimited scalability, making it an ideal point-to-point or point-to-multipoint live video distribution solution for network affiliates and station groups.

TVUPack TM8200 - At the show, the latest version of TVUPack TM8200 will be on display. With enhanced low-latency performance and deeper integration with satellite providers, TM8200 offers broadcasters, videographers and camera crews the worlds smallest, lightest and most powerful mobile cellular uplink solution available in a backpack. The TVUPack TM8200 is powered by TVUs proprietary Inverse StatMux technology, which dynamically segments a live video signal and transmits the segments through multiple independent 3G/4G/LTE, WiFi, WiMax, BGAN, Ka Band/Ku Band satellite and microwave connections, aggregating all available bandwidth to ensure a resilient transmission and superior picture quality. TVUPack features unique dual encoding capabilities - the ability to simultaneously transmit a live video stream while separately recording the video in HD for store-and-forward. It also has one button operation, fast start up and is fully modular, giving field crews a powerful and flexible broadcast tool that can deliver live professional quality video from practically any location.
TVUPack Mini is the perfect solution for broadcasters, production crews, news agencies and independent videographers to capture and broadcast live professional-quality video. Weighing less than a kilogram, TVUPack Mini can be mounted directly to a camera or used in a belt-mount configuration. TVUPack Mini SE is a variant of the TVUPack Mini purpose-built specifically for Sony XDCAM camcorders.
TVU Anywhere is a powerful tool that enables organizations to instantly capture and transmit footage from iOS and Windows mobile devices. TVU Anywhere is simple to deploy and operate and offers a number of enhanced features for broadcasters including store and forward functionality, IFB, the ability to control transmission settings from the studio and the ability to aggregate WiFi and 3G/4G/LTE connections.
TVU MARC-1 is a weather-resistant enclosure for the TVUPack TM8200s detachable modem module that can easily be mounted to any vehicle. When mounted to the roof of an ENG vehicle, MARC-1 provides superior resiliency for the TVUPacks multiple cellular connections and gives camera crews the ability to transmit superior quality live video while the vehicle is moving. MARC-1 can also be mounted to a free standing tripod, to allow field crews to move the modem module to locations with stronger bandwidth independent of the camera setup.
