Prime Now, Amazon's superfast delivery service, has grown rapidly to more than 40 metropolitan areas worldwide since first launching in Manhattan in December of 2014.

Prime Now-Exclusive Deals for Prime Day

In celebration of Prime Day, Prime Now will feature deals on select items each day beginning on Wednesday, July 6, through Prime Day on July 12. During that timeframe, members who place their first-ever Prime Now order using promotional code 10PRIMENOW will receive $10 off that order, as well as a promotional code for an additional $10 to shop on Prime Now later in the month.

Prime Now Restaurants Deal

Through Prime Now, Amazon offers free delivery in one hour or less from favorite local restaurants in 12 metropolitan areas across the U.S. Prime members in eligible restaurant delivery areas who make a qualifying purchase on July 12 on the Amazon.com or Primenow.com websites or apps will receive a promotional code for $20 off a future Amazon Restaurants order.

Since Prime Day last year, Prime Now has added 33 new metropolitan areas in six countries to the service, enabling even more customers to shop Prime Day deals for one- and two-hour delivery. Some highlights from last year's Prime Day deals available on Prime Now include:

The fastest order delivered on Prime Day 2015 was an iRobot Roomba 595 Pet Vacuum Cleaning Robot to a customer in Austin, Texas. The delivery was made in 10 minutes and 23 seconds.

The top-selling item on Prime Now across all metro areas was the Amazon Fire TV Stick, followed by the Kindle e-reader (6 display) and the iRobot Roomba.

Shoppers in Manhattan ordered the most products for one-hour delivery on Prime Day last year. Austin and Baltimore followed closely behind.
