Flowics, creator of the most comprehensive platform for powering remote and in-studio production of live graphics and interactive content, announced today that its Flowics Graphics is a Best New Graphics Technology winner in the 2021 NAB Show Product of the Year Awards. This official awards program recognizes the most significant and promising new products and technologies showcased by corporate partners of NAB Show.
Flowics Graphics is a cloud-based, HTML5 broadcast-quality graphics engine for digital and linear broadcasters. Flowics Graphics works in any production workflow - including SDI, NDI, cloud-based, and desktop-based. With Flowics Graphics, users can design and operate all kinds of broadcast graphics and easily integrate social media content, real-time audience interaction and external data sources, with no custom development or local installation needed.
NAB Show Product of the Year Awards winners were selected by a panel of industry experts in 16 categories and announced in a live awards ceremony on NAB Amplify on Nov. 3. To be eligible for an award, nominated products had to come from companies scheduled to exhibit in either the 2020 or 2021 NAB Show and delivered within the 2021 calendar year.
Nominees like Flowics are revolutionizing the way people experience media and entertainment, said NAB Executive Vice President of Conventions and Business Operations, Chris Brown. The 2021 NAB Show Product of the Year Awards highlight the best of whats new and celebrate the breakthroughs and advancements within the content industry.
We see the industry moving from capex to opex and to the cloud, as broadcasters look for more flexible solutions that can fit different production workflows and new business models, said Gabriel Ba os, Flowics CEO and founder. Broadcasters have learned that live production no longer needs to take place in a studio or be so complex. We are gratified that NAB has recognized that Flowics Graphics allows the best, simplified approach to graphics production in cloud-based workflows.
