Remote production does not mean compromising production quality, flexibility or performance. Axim Studio Systems have been market leaders in unmanned productions for over 5 years. Every aspect of the shoot: framing (PTZ and camera height), lighting, audio, branding, chromakeying and much more is dealt with remotely by a professional operator.
User control is over a standard web interface which gives comprehensive but simple and intuitive management of the entire system.
The location of the operator is completely independent of the stream destination, which means it can be controlled by your in-house video team, a third-party production/ playout facility or the broadcaster themselves, and the stream arrives in low latency high quality industry standard format, protected by Haivisions SRT packet loss protection system.
Studio feeds and scripts can be fed back to the Axim Studio and displayed on the confidence monitor or the optional teleprompter/Interrotron.
Axim Studio Systems are a wholly owned subsidiary of Microvideo, a 35-year veteran of broadcast equipment design and manufacture, the studio hardware is based on Microvideo's proven platform which has been used by major broadcasters for everything from managing audience monitoring to sub-title/caption transcoding to seamless emergency back-up switching. Full audio routing and mixing of two professional microphone inputs and outputs, dual sip phones, return audio and up to 16 channels of return audio which can be individually routed for direct communication with each user. Control over Audio delay for both SDI and H264 outputs and Test tone generator
PC integration which allows any PC with the AximCam drivers on the same network, to use the Axim Studio as camera and audio source, that means, connecting with communications (Teams/Zoom/Skype etc) or social media apps is the same for the user as it is using their PC mic and camera - just way higher quality (and not additional cost!), you can even add PowerPoint presentations as your virtual background and control PTZ and presenter on/off screen from within PowerPoint.
